Immigrant Justice

Nuestro Centro - El Centro of Henderson County is a grassroots nonprofit organization, formed in May of 1998 to address the many challenges that accompany the increasing numbers of Latino immigrants to Western North Carolina. The mission of El Centro is to create a more inclusive community for Latinos, by providing unique services, developing grassroots leaders and working together to access community resources.


Southerners on New Ground (SONG) is a regional Queer Liberation organization made up of people of color, immigrants, undocumented people, people with disabilities, working class and rural and small town, LGBTQ people in the South.

Racial Justice

Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) is a national network of groups and individuals organizing White people for racial justice. NAACP - North Carolina Chapter - is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. Its members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities.

Reproductive Justice

National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health builds Latina power to guarantee the fundamental human right to reproductive health, dignity and justice.
